Acaciavej Sharli

Sharli's sale was the hardest thing that I have had to do in our short time of breeding. Sharli was our first filly by Prince and was to have always been retained in the stud. However, tragedy struck in a big way with Sharli having her first foal. He was a very big foal and damaged her so badly that we were advised not to continue breeding with her. The decision was made to let Sharli go to a new home as a riding horse. She has found a lovely home where she is loved and cherished and is to be used for trail riding and will possibly be shown in-hand as well.

Marli, like her siblings, has all of the qualities of a lovely riding horse and the same, easy trainable temperament. Unlike her siblings, she is a lovely deep coloured chestnut. Marli was sold at 5 months of age, to a family who have admired Prince since he tried his 'hoof' at endurance in 2009. We look forward to seeing how Marli develops and matures with her devoted family.
Acaciavej Zahn

Zahn 'left home' when he was 15 months old and undertook the journey to his new home just inland from Byron Bay. He was bought on photos and conversations and his new owner was ecstatic with what she had 'found' when he arrived. Particularly when he decided to be 'scared' of the school bus driving by and he trotted/floated across his new paddock. Margaret has commented many times on his sensible but curious nature and his wonderful companionship. We look forward to hearing of their show, dressage and endurance outings.
Acaciavej Silk'n'Velvet

Having only wanting to breed purebreds, the chance of breeding Velvet was too good to refuse, and we weren't disappointed. Although only small, Velvet will mature at about 15hh, due to her dam being very sick and foaling 3 weeks early, Velvet has the conformation of a superb riding horse. She was sashed with broad ribbons at the 2 shows that she attended as a 2yo before being sold to a local endurance home. We look forward to hearing of her treks on the endurance tracks.
Acaciavej Shadowy Cass (Khozmonaut/Capleach Shadowy Lustre)

Cass is a well balanced, very forward filly, who is expected to mature between 14.3hh and 15hh and is bred for riding. Her sire was Tasmania's 2005 Endurance Heavyweight division horse of the year and he has his 1600km AERA Roll of Merit. Her dam was also an endurance qualified mare before being confined to the broodmare paddock.
Acaciavej Zaheer

Zaheer was our first foal by Acaciavej Shadowy Prince and was the first foal for Jirrima Zarli. He was another beautiful gelding that was sold before he was 12 months old. Zaheer has a very settled temperament and is a very easy gelding to care for and to have around. He has matured at 14.3hh and is used by his owner for trail riding, some endurance 'training rides' and dressage competition.
Acaciavej Shadowy Taj

Taj is a beautiful gelding who was sought after before he was born and went to his new home when he was 9 months old! He is now 15.2hh and after a couple of 'family' changes has made his mark in his latest family. He has done pony club with one daughter, in-hand dressage and endurance with Mum, and is now everybody's favourite trail ride mount on guided trail rides.
